Free online translator
Translate text between 80 languages, no account. Pick the tone, pin your terms, and check every sentence beside its translation.
Machine translation can be wrong, especially for legal, medical and official documents. Use it to draft and understand; have a qualified translator review anything with real consequences.
Built for checking, not just converting
Most free translators give you one block of output and hope for the best. TranslatePro splits your text into numbered segments, the unit professional translators work in, and lines each one up with its translation. That makes three checks fast:
- Nothing dropped. Every source line has a partner. A missing sentence is obvious.
- Numbers intact. The tool compares figures in each pair and flags a segment if 30 became 13.
- Terms held. Glossary words are highlighted on both sides, and flagged when the translation used something else.
One sentence, two registers
English says “you” to everyone. Most languages don't. Here is the same request translated with the Formal and Casual tone settings:
English Could you send me the report by Friday?
¿Podría enviarme el informe antes del viernes?

Questions people ask
Is TranslatePro really free?
Yes. There is no account, no email sign-up and no paywall. Each request can hold up to 5,000 characters, and a fair-use limit per visitor keeps it free for everyone.
How many languages does it support?
Eighty languages, including Swahili, Hindi, Tagalog (Filipino), Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and most European languages. Any of them can be the source or the target.
What does the tone setting change?
Many languages grammatically encode politeness: Spanish tú and usted, German du and Sie, Japanese plain and desu/masu forms. Formal and Casual pick one register and keep it consistent across the whole text; "Match the original" follows your source.
What is the glossary for?
A glossary pins a term to one translation, for example a product name, a legal term your company defines, or "ticket" that must always be "incidencia" and never "billete". Terms are highlighted in both columns and the tool flags any segment where a pinned term is missing.
What is back-translation?
After translating, you can send the result back into the source language. If the back-translation says something different from what you wrote, that segment deserves a closer look. It is a quick sanity check, not proof of quality.
Can I translate legal or medical documents?
Only to understand them or produce a first draft. Machine translation can be fluent and still wrong; contracts, prescriptions, consent forms and official certificates need a qualified human translator.
Is my text saved?
No. Text is sent to the translation model only when you press Translate and is not stored on our servers. Your language choices and glossary are kept in your own browser so they are there next time; you can clear them on the privacy page.
