What to watch between Japanese and English
Implied subjects
Where Japanese omits the subject, the English translation must guess "I", "we" or "you" from context. Give full paragraphs rather than single lines so the model has that context.
Honorifics
Suffixes such as -san and -sama are usually dropped or rendered as Mr/Ms in Formal tone. If you want to keep them (for example in fiction), add "さん => -san" to the glossary.
Vertical and mixed text
Paste text in normal reading order. Mixed Japanese and English (product codes, names) is kept as written.

Japanese to English: questions
Can it translate manga or game text?
It can translate typed text you paste in. It cannot read text from images; for photos of text, use a camera translation app instead.
How does it treat keigo?
Humble and honorific forms are translated into polite English. Very formal phrases are softened into natural English rather than translated word for word.
Is machine translation reliable for official documents?
No. For certificates, contracts, medical records or visa paperwork, use a certified translator; machine output can be wrong.
