Translation History

  • What: Your past translations (up to 50 most recent)
  • Where: Stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB
  • Why: To let you quickly access previous translations
  • Retention: Remains on your device until you clear it
  • Control: Clear history anytime. Never sent to our servers

Analytics

  • What: Page views, browser type, general location (country-level)
  • Where: Ahrefs Web Analytics
  • Why: To understand usage and improve the service
  • Control: Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous

Third-Party Services

TranslatePro uses the following third-party services:

  • Translation API (DeepL or Google Cloud Translation) - For accurate translations
  • LanguageTool API - For grammar and spelling analysis (when used)
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics - Anonymous usage statistics
  • Google AdSense - Display advertisements

What We Don't Do

Security

  • All connections use HTTPS encryption
  • Translation API keys are stored server-side, never exposed to clients
  • No passwords or sensitive authentication data is stored
